Chinmaya Mission, Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai invites applications for the 15th Vedanta Course. The two-year residential course in English will commence on Ganesh Chaturthi day on September 1, 2011. University graduates both men and women, unmarried and free from family encumbrances between the age group of 20 and 30 are eligible for admission. Selected candidates will be provided free accommodation, food, clothes, books and medical facilities.
H.H. Swami Tejomayananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide will be the Chief Acharya. Swami Advayananda, Resident Acharya and other visiting Acharyas will conduct the course. The Course includes the study of the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and other important Vedantic and Bhakti literature. Sanskrit also will be taught. Personal interviews of all candidates will be conducted at specific locations in India and abroad.
After completion of the Course, students can serve the Chinmaya Mission or pursue their individual goals. Last date for receiving applications for the Vedanta Course is May 31st, 2011.
