Hindus should pay gratitude at the feet of Srikrushna for this success !

Pune (Maharashtra) : Objection was raised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to screen the short film during the tenth international film festival as it glorified anti-Hindu and anti-national painter M F Husain. Owing to the objection, the show of the film has been cancelled.

A representation was submitted to the organizers of the film festival by HJS and other pro-Hindu organizations demanding that the film on M F Husain, who has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus by drawing denigrating pictures of Deities, should not be shown in the film festival. Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the coordinator of HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts had called up Mr. Jabbar Patel, the chief organizer of the film festival and demanded that the controversial film should not be shown and after discussion with him, Mr. Patel had assured Mr. Vatkar that the film would not be screened. The international film festival held at Pune was concluded on 19th January and the public relation personnel of the film festival informed that film glorifying M F Husain was not shown in the festival.
