‘Unity of Hindus is a need of an hour’ – Opinion of devout Hindus
Bhivandi (Maharashtra) : There was a spontaneous response from devout Hindus for a meeting organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in Tilaknagar temple for organising Hindus. On this occasion, everyone spoke about the need for unity of Hindus being the call of the time.
At the outset, the photographs of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Shiv Sena Pramukh late Balasaheb Thackeray were worshipped. On this occasion, Mr. Prashant Surve of Samiti said, ‘Considering the denigrating comments by Dr. Zakir Naik about Shri Ganesh, Anti-superstition Act, growing corruption in the country, young generation of Hindus falling prey to addictions under the adverse influence of Western culture like the celebration of New Year’s Day on 31st December, it is necessary to create awareness in the society for preserving Dharma and the nation by unity of all devout Hindu organisations.’ Shiv Sena city Pramukh, Mr. Mohan Ballal, Shakha Pramukh of Shiv Sena, Mr. Ramesh Gaikwad, Mr. Patil Guruji of Tilak Chowk Mitra Mandal, ex-corporator Mr. Boradkar, Mr. Abhit Bhojane of Samiti and 40 representatives of various other organisations were present in this meeting.
