Chennai : Recently a Hindu Jagruti Meeting was organised by the Tamilnadu Hindu Mahasabha under the leadership of its President, Kodambakkam Sri at Thana street, Chennai.

Around 40 Hindu organisations like Bharat Sena, Tamil Nadu VHP, Bharath Munnetra Kazhagam, Indhu Makkal Katchi, Shivsena, Swami Vivekanand Dharma Prachara Seva Samiti and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participated in the program.

Around 2200 people participated in the program. 10 point resolutions were passed in the meeting including ban on cow slaughter, ban on conversion, strong action against those who denigrate Hindu Deities, Temple funds must be used only for temple maintenance etc.

On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti a speech was given about the importance of doing spiritual practice while doing samashti karya.
