Police unnecessarily forbidding permission for creating
awareness among Hindus in the Nation with Hindu majority is very infuriating !

Demands of various documents from Samiti’s activists by police

Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha has been organised at United High School ground between 5p.m. to 9p.m. on 16th February 2014 on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). In order to seek permission for the sabha an application has been forwarded to the District Police officer on 23rd January; but the police are demanding various kinds of documents for granting permission to the meeting. Samiti has complied with all the demands made so far by them. Yet police are creating obstacles in granting permission for the meeting by demanding more documents.

Samiti has already furnished all the necessary documents to the police on 9th February and has requested them to grant permission without any delay by sending the compliance letter.

Demand of a written bond from the speakers in the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha

While answering to the letter of the Samiti, the Police Inspector has demanded some other documents. It has been mentioned in the reply that the various speakers invited from Maharashtra to address the meeting should produce personal bond in the police station in writing stating that, they will not hurt any religious feelings. They will not make comments on any castes or make propaganda of any political party, will not make unnecessary comments upon Police Department. Please take a note that, this will enable us to present it in the prescribed time at Ratnagiri Police Station. (Did the police demand such a letter from organisations like Sambhaji Brigade, ANiS etc. or persons from other religions ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
