HJS dharma-prasar activities in Kerala
1. Guidance by HJS on love jihad in a program held by Vaishya community and other Hindutva-vadis : On 16.11.2014, Vaishya community and other Hindutva-vadis organized a program to create awareness amongst Hindu families about lovejihad. More than 200 people attended the program. On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Kum. Pranita Sukhthankar talked about the ‘measures to stop love jihad’ and ‘Importance of Dharmacharan’. Shri. Aneeish of ‘Hindu helpline’ explained in detail about extensive spread of love jihad.
2. Participation by jidnyasus (spiritually curious) and devout in Dharma-prasar activities
2A. Shri. Manish Nayar set up a Cell for distribution of Sanatan Panchang in a temple : Shri. Manish Nayar subscribes
to the monthly English ‘Sanatan Prabhat’. Many devotees come to a temple near his house on their way to Sabarimala. (There is a temple of Deity Ayyappa Swami at Sabarimala and it is open for devotees from November till Makar-sankranti) Shri. Manish Nayar bought sattvik products and panchangs and set up a Cell in the temple for their distribution.
2B. Inspiring people to subscribe to Sanatan Prabhat : Shri. Tangachhan from Kottayam District, Kerala owns a book shop. On learning the importance of seva and sadhana, he has started inspiring people to subscribe to the Sanatan Prabhat.
2C. Shri. Vivek starting sadhana and seva promptly : Shri. Vivek (age- 26 yrs) is a devout Hindu and had gone to Ramnathi ashram for the first time about a month back, along with 3 other devout Hindus. On his return, he visited the Kochi seva-kendra every 15 days as well as started sadhana (spiritual practice). He has started telling his friends about importance of sadhana.
2D. Offering to translate Panchang in Malayalam language : A person from Palakkad district liked the Malayalam panchang very much and offered to do seva of translation of Panchang in Malayalam language.
