Vaishakh Krushna Dashami
That day would be an auspicious day when ‘Kshatratej’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is awakened among Hindus and they prevent incidents of idol-destruction in Maharashtra!
Incidents of idol-damaging occurred in Goa, now they are happening in Maharashtra and may spread all over country. Will the powerful pro-Hindu Organizations and parties continue to be just silent witnesses to these incidents causing damage to Dharma?
Indignant condition of devastated Shiva-temple!
Ancient Shiva Temple destroyed by unknown anti-Hindu elements |
Pune (Maharashtra): An ancient Shiva Temple near crematorium in Baner was found to be damaged by unknown persons. The incident recently came to light. Prof. P. J. Tawade, chief executive of Indian Historical Research and Training Centre has published a circular giving detail of the incident. It is assumed that the temple was damaged about a week ago.
Prof. Tawade inspected the ruined temple along with his associates Hanumant Solaskar and Tushar Jagatap when it was observed that the acme of the temple, parts sculptures near Ganesh entrance, two ‘Nandis’, a sculpted rock and idol of Sree Ganesha were lying all over the place but there was no ‘Shiva-lingam’.
HJS warns of agitation if no action is taken in the case
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has demanded that persons responsible for causing damage to the temple should be nabbed at the earliest. HJS also gave a warning that an awareness would be created among people towards the issue and agitations will be held if no action is taken in the matter.
