Detailed News of Defamation
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A Hindi Daily, ‘Daily Nayi Duniya’ has published an article ‘The great GM, Sree Ganesh ke funde apana le bande’ (Follow the tactics of Sree Ganesh, The Great GM) in its ‘Youth Special’ supplement on Ganesh Chaturthi day, 23rd August 2009.
Sree Ganesh has been transformed into a yuppie gizmo wielding human in this picture. To top that Sree Ganesh’s hair has been coloured, He wears a T-shirt & jeans, has sunglasses strapped to his hip, wears sport shoes and a cap. He holds a mobile phone in one hand, operates a laptop with His second hand, sips a cold drink with the help of His trunk, holds a CD as a Sudarshan Chakra in His 3rd hand & wears a watch on His 4th arm.
This picture also has Him wearing a USB cable around His neck (instead of a garland) and wearing a hands-free headset. Such denigration of Sree Ganesh has hurt the sentiments of Billions of Hindus worldwide.

Sub : Request to stop denigrating Lord Ganesh and giving apology.
Dear Sirs,
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is an NGO engaged in Nation building, educating people about Dharma & Dharmacharan, awakening & uniting Hindus. For forthur details and worldwide operation of Samiti please visit website www.hindujagruti.org
This refers to the article ” The Great G.M., Shree Ganesh ke fande aapnale bande ” published in your Nai Duniya yuva suppliment of 22nd August 2009. Lord Ganesh has been shown as G.M. working in human form with modern gadgets like mobile, usb port, sports shoes, pant, shirt, cold drink etc. Please note that ShreeGanesh showing in the human form is a cruel joke of Hindu deity denigrating and hurting lakhs of your readers. Lord Ganesh in human form gives bad vibrations as per spiritual science and Hindu Dharma , hence Lord Ganesh will curse you instead of blessing.
We would like to bring to your notice that this has hurt the Religious sentiments of lacs of Hindus and devotees of ShreeGanesh because of distorted form of Lord Sree Ganesh.
In spite of this it is very shocking and painful to know that being a Hindu you have NO respect for the deities and even Lord Ganesh. From the time immemorial Hindu religion always had to fight enemies not only from outside but within due to people like you. Further you will not dare to show Mohammad Paigambar or Jesus in such denigrated form .
In view of above we request you to immediately stop publishing such denigrating picture ,give us unconditional apology and publish the same at the earliest.
Please acknowledge receipt. Please inform us the action being taken in the matter and oblige.
Yours Truly,
S.G.Vatkar,
(For Hindu Janajagruti Samiti)
