Meaning:
Oh Lord Krushna, Madanagopala, (whose beauty is akin to Madan’s ,the Hindu male deity of Beauty, who is looking after the cows [a cowheard]), I offer this aarti to You.)
Shyamsunder, (one with a dark complexion) You adorn a necklace with blue sapphires, pearls, rubies, topazes and diamonds which signify the earth, water, fire, air and ether elements respectively, according to the Shrî Dnyâneshvarî (a great spiritual text of the Hindus).
The One with tender lotus feet.
The One whose feet show three auspicious lines representing the flag, thunderbolt and goad. The One whose anklets seem to speak of His immense love for devotees.
It is from His lotus navel that Lord Brahmâ was born
His chest adorns a pendant of ‘Shrîvatsalânchan’ (a whirl of white hair that exists on Lord Vishnu’s heart, story is given below)
The One whose countenance gives an infinite Bliss with just one glance at it,
one loses body-consciousness. With the mind engrossed in Him, forgets oneself, upon viewing His lotus like face.
The One whose bejewelled crown shines with divine radiance.
The entire Universe/Tribhuvan (Heaven, Bhulok and Bhuvlok) shine radiantly with that effulgence.
Saint Eknath says, that due to the grace of His Guru Janardan Swami, He got the vision/darshan of Lord Krishna.
All those who have seen this vision of The Lord have merged into Him.
