Wearing a tie is a non-sattvik practice of the westerners. It further traps an individual in Māyā (Great Illusion). Therefore, the individual does not obtain any spiritual benefit and remains psychologically disturbed.
It is said that, attire moulds the attitude and the attitude in turn decides the attire. Attitude means a field of vibrations of emotions - spiritual emotions that are created in the subconscious mind of an individual.
