Jalgaon : No incident in life can be predicted in advance. Girls and women have to face many adverse situations. And that is possible only if the young woman is trained. So a free Shaurya Jagran camp was organised in the city by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The camp started on 8th June at the P.N. Lunkad Kanya School and concluded on 17th June. Many girls of the city took advantage of this camp, where they were given basic training in karate, lathis and nunchakus. The girls who completed the entire course were felicitated with certificates.
Parents of the camp attendees were also present for the concluding ceremony. The young attendees shared their experiences of how the camp benefited them. The parents also expressed their thoughts. Shri. Prashant Juvekar (HJS organiser for North Maharashtra) said, that HJS aims to conduct more such free camps across the city and train many young women. Ms. Saili Patil (Chemical Engineer) was the main coach, assisted by Ms. Vaishnavi Bari, Ms. Nikita Sonar, Ms. Komal Sonar.
