HJS conducts 10-day Shaurya Prashikshan Shibir in Mumbai

Mumbai : The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti conducted a 10-day Shaurya Prashikshan Shibir (Self defence camp) for youth in the Sahakar Nagar Maidan, Wadala, Mumbai. The camp held from 2nd to 11th June provided guidance on becoming physically, mentally and spiritually fit. Camp attendees aged 15 to 40 were provided training on lathis, nunchakus, and self defence.

Mumbai District Coordinator of the Samiti Shri. Balwant Pathak provided guidance on ‘Importance of spiritual practice in life for personality development’. He introduced the Samiti’s mission and work. Shri Shiv Rajyabhishek Dinotsav Seva Samiti Durgaraj Raigad Chairman Shri. Sunil Pawar was present on the occasion. He spoke on the importance of having the ideal of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj and striving for the protection of Nation & Dharma like Maharaj’s soldiers. He presented completion certificates to the attendees. The attendees also got to view an exhibition on national heroes and revolutionaries.

1. Anirudh Shirodkar – Training gave me the confidence to face situations in life.

2. Kavita – I live in an area dominated by another community. If something adverse happens there, I now have the confidence to face and counter it using the techniques taught here.

3. Vignesh Sapre – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is doing good work. We should create awareness about this in the society and protect our scriptures, Nation & Dharma.

Some parents who attended the camp with their children shared that now they strongly feel that their children should also contribute to the service of Nation & Dharma.
