Waqf Board orders to vacate Govindpur (Bihar) village having 95% Hindu population

Orders to vacate the village within 30 days

  • After the Army and Railways, Waqf Board owns the most land in our country. Hindus all over India should now make efforts to declare the Waqf Board anti-democratic.
  • India existed before the birth of Islam. Therefore, all the claims of the Waqf Board should be rejected and the lands should be returned to the concerned people. ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is needed to make this possible. – Editor

Patna (Bihar) ‘Sunni Waqf Board’ has laid claim over Govindpur village in Fatuha of Patna District. The Board has issued an order to the residents to vacate the village within 30 days. 95% of the people in this village are Hindus and they are worried about this.

Hindu residents of the village say that this land belongs to them and the Waqf Board’s claim is completely wrong and baseless.

Upon investigation ordered by the District Magistrate, it was found that the villagers had ancestral rights over the land and the Waqf Board’s claim was false.

Hindu villagers’ stand

Reportedly, the Waqf Board suddenly claimed the land in Govindpur village as theirs. The Board claimed that this land has been in its possession since 1959, while the Hindu villagers living here have completely refuted the claim saying, ‘We have been living here since 1909 and the documents of this land are also in our name’.

The villagers said that this year too, the High Court gave a verdict in their favour in the land dispute. Even after that, the Waqf Board is claiming this land. The Waqf Board has not been able to submit any documents regarding their claim on this land.

Know the horrific Waqf Act

Exercising unlimited powers, the Waqf Board has doubled the area of land under its purview in just 13 years. According to the Waqf Management System of India, all the Waqf Boards in the country have a total of 8,54,509 properties. These properties are spread over more than 8 lakh acres of land.
