HJS holds A day in the presence of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj campaign at Panhala Fort

Panhala (District Kolhapur) : The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held A day in the presence of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj campaign in the fort premises here. A total of 50 devout Hindus from Gadhinglaj, Sankeshwar, Nipani and Kolhapur areas participated.

The campaign started with worship of mudras from the Chhatrapati’s reign at the Juna Budhwar Peth. After paying homage to the tomb of Narveer Shiva Kashid, the purpose of the campaign was explained by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Yuva Sanghatak Mr Prathamesh Gawde. After this the attendees revisited the historical and spiritual significance of Naikeen Sajja, Someshwar Lake, Sajjakoti, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Temple, Shiva Temple. The attendees then participated in the collective cleaning of the Shambhu Mahadev temple at Ambarkhana.

At the conclusion of the campaign, Mr Prathamesh Gawde, District Coordinator of the Mandir Mahasangh Mr Prasad Kulkarni administered the oath of the establishment of Hindu Rashtra amidst chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’. Devout Hindus Mr Rambhau Methe and Mr Shankar Sathe were also present.

 

Highlights

1. Descendant of Narveer Shiva Kashid Mr Anandrao Kashid told the audience about the sacrifice of Shiva Kashid and how everyone can derive inspiration from his exploits.

2. Mr Vikas Phalle (from Panhala) provided refreshments, while Mr Amarsingh Bhosle (alias Sarkar) arranged for food.
