Mumbai – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised a one-day camp on November 24 at Arnala Fort in Vasai as a part of its ‘A Day in the Presence of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj’ campaign. The Samiti is conducting the campaign with the aim of instilling ideals of the glorious valour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his soldiers, their contribution to the Nation & Dharma in the youth, and also to make them aware of the importance of Hindu unity in the present era and their responsibility towards the Nation & Dharma. Many people in Arnala participated in the campaign, responding spontaneously to this campaign.
History scholar Mr Ninad Patil offered a garland and prayers. At the entrance of the fort, the youth organizer of the Samiti, Mr Mahesh Lad, offered a garland to the statue of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj. Mr Ninad Patil shared information about the fort, and the unprecedented bravery of Narveer Chimajiappa, Peshwa and Mavale and their struggle to protect the Nation & Dharma. ‘It is necessary for the young generation to study their bravery and struggle. To protect the Hindu community from attacks everywhere, we should take the oath of Swaraj like Chh. Shivaji Maharaj and participate in the work of Nation & Dharma,’ he said. A cleanliness campaign was also conducted followed by collective chanting by the attendees. Then the attendees were given a demonstration and practicals on self-defense. Mr Mahesh Lad addressed the attendees on directions in serving Dharma. The camp ended with a collective oath for Hindu Rashtra.
