Prayagraj – Laurene Powell Jobs, wife of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is in India to attend Maha Kumbha 2025, that began on 13 th January. She started her spiritual retreat by visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.
On her way to the Maha Kumbha, in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, Laurene offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. She accompanied Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj of Niranjani Akhada to the temple.
Laurene, wearing a pink suit and covering her head with a white “dupatta”, adhered to the traditions of the temple and offered prayers from outside the sanctum sanctorum at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Avoided taking Sangam dip due to poor health
Due to poor health, Kamala could not go for the first Amrit Snan on the day of Makar Sankranti. Therefore, Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj sprinkled water from the Triveni Sangam on her and told her its importance. She had arrived on 10thJanuary for the Maha Kumbha Parva. She will be leaving for the US on 16thJanuary.
