A video surfaced showing Hakim plucking hair from his private parts and placing it on the Tulsi plant. This disturbing act has drawn widespread condemnation from the public.
Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) visited the site, performed a worship ceremony to purify the Tulsi plant, and strongly condemned Hakim’s actions. They also demanded strict action against him.
The Hindu Aikya Vedi organization has lodged a formal complaint regarding the incident. Reports suggest that Hakim has since been arrested. Many believe this incident underscores the need for stronger governmental measures against individuals who insult or harm religious sentiments.
