Lashing out at the Centre in the wake of the Pathankot terror strike, the Shiv Sena today said it had warned Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to trust Pakistan and that time has now come for him to focus on India rather than trying to unite the world.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the foundation for India’s freedom struggle was laid during the awakening created by the country’s saints in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Citing statistics, the CM said before the British invaded India, the country had 1,230 Sanskrit schools in which over 1.80 lakh students studied. “We also had 742 colleges which taught Sanskrit,” he added.
