‘FORCE’ organization strongly opposes ridicule of Draupadi

Are the powerful Hindu Organisations going to at least open their mouth and register protest or going to keep quiet as usual?

Nashik(Maharashtra): In the recently released Hindi film ‘Once upon a time in Mumbai’, mockery has been made of Draupadi and Pandavas through vulgar dialogues. An organization called ‘FORCE’ has demanded that the producers of the film should render public apology to all Indians. (Why the powerful Hindu Organisations do not notice something which is noticed by a small organization? Will the powerful Hindu Organizations do something to protect objects of worship of Hindus rather than harping only on one poignant point? – Editor SP) In the circular issued by this organization, it has been mentioned that ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Mahabharata’ are two holy scriptures of Hindus. The characters in these scriptures are worshipped by Hindus. The dialogues in this film, however, denigrate Pandavas, Draupadi and even Mumbai city that has got its name from Goddess Mumbadevi. This is a matter that has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus all over India and Mumbaites. The shows of this film should, therefore, be immediately stopped. The controversial dialogues should be excised from the film and the producer should render apology to all Hindus; else be ready to face fury of all Hindus. (Congratulations to the organization ‘FORCE’ for opposing, in lawful manner, mockery of objects of worship of Hindus. That will be the day when other devout Hindus learn from this example and become active ! – Editor SP) The circular has been signed by its President Adv. Nanasaheb Shinde, Organiser Adv. Arun Donde, Secretary Shri. Vishal Govardhane and Convenor Dr. Giridhar Patil.

Vulgar dialogues from the film

Shoeb : Sultan has divided this city among 5 persons, is this a city or Draupadi?

Friend: You say anything when you are drunk.

Shoeb: No, I am serious; only two persons are required to run this city; rest of the Pandavas will go to exile.

Friend: What do you want to do?

Shoeb: I want to kiss her, take her in my arms, play.

(Will the producer have courage to make mockery of Mecca-Madina, the pilgrim places of Muslims? – Editor SP)
