Exhibition of women-empowerment through ‘Hindu Ekata Dindi’ at Sangli

Sangli : ‘Hindu Ekata Dindi’ was taken out on 30th May on the occasion of 75th birthday (Amrut Mahotsav) of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale. In this ‘Ganaraya nagari’, one could witness an exhibition of women-empowerment creating valour, during the ‘dindi’. More than 400 devout Hindus participated in the ‘dindi’. People felt ‘chaitanya’ and energy just by looking at the ‘dindi’.

First, at Zulelal Chowk, H.B.P. Ramakant Bongale Maharaj, the founder of Sangli District Warkari Sampradaya Seva Sanghatana’ performed ‘Dharma-dhvaj-pujan’ and ‘Vedacharya’ Lakshmanshastri Mote broke coconut. Shri. Narayanrao Kadam, the Executive President of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ performed ‘puja’ of a cow and the ‘dindi’ was started. It was concluded at Maruti Mandir. ‘Ranaragini’ squad, first-aid squad and squad of women-advocates were the specialities of the ‘dindi’. Group of children in attires of revolutionaries, great national heroes and Saints drew attention of people. People from all age-groups including even 4 year-old children had participated in the ‘dindi’.

Narayanrao Kadam, Executive President of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ and Shri. Ashok Maskar from Shirala.

Highlights

1. At the time of ‘cow-puja’ performed in the beginning, the cow passed urine; which is considered to be auspicious sign.

2. Shri. Dhani Londhe, owner of Shriram Agency and a devotee of P.P. Bhaktaraj Maharaj and P. P. Ramanand Maharaj, garlanded ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ and photo-frame of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale kept in a ‘palakhi’ in the ‘dindi’. Participants acclaimed all the above Saints generating ‘bhav’ and ‘nava-chaitanya’ in them. Shri. Manoj Sahastrabuddhe and Sou. Sahastrabuddhe, owner of ‘D.P. Paranjape Cold drink House’ offered a garland for ‘dhvaj’.

3. Members of ‘O.S.K Martial Arts’ from Miraj presented demos of ‘lathi-kathi’ and martial art during the ‘dindi’ at different ‘chowks’.

4. HJS volunteers controlled the traffic when no traffic police were available and created an ideal before Hindus.

Hindu is the culture of this country ! – Shri. Narayanrao Kadam, ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’, Executive President

Today, we are raising slogans for Hindu Rashtra. What is wrong with it ? Hindu is culture of this country and presenting concept of Hindu Rashtra is most appropriate thing to do. Hindu culture is comprehensive. There are many ways of worshipping still Hindus are together; therefore, Hindus should go ahead and work with the feeling that all Hindus are one.

HVP will take initiative if injustice is done to Hindus ! – Advocate Samir Patwardhan, President- Sangli District Advocate Parishad

Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP) will always take initiative in fighting against injustice to Hindus wherever such incidents occur. HVP is ready for all 24 hours to help Hindus.

Cow-slaughtering Congress and communists should be banished permanently ! – Shri. Manoj Khadye, HJS, Western Maharashtra Coordinator   

Today, cow-slaughtering is taking place in Kerala State and it is done only to oppose the law passed by Union Government. Cow-slaughtering Congress and Communists both should be banished permanently in future !

Assistance extended

Shri. Suresh Garad of ‘Shiva-leela Sanskrutik Kala Manch’s founder provided clothes required for ‘palakhi’ and Shri. Visubhau Kulkarni provided dresses of revolutionaries. Shri. Dattatreya Mendigale helped in light arrangements. Shri. Vishweshwar Magdum and Shri. Veerbhadra Magdum of Keshavnath Mandir made available material required for ‘palakhi’ etc.

Shri. Shekhar Mohite, a patriot offered his car. Shri. Yuvaraj Sawant of ‘Shri Shivapratishthan’ provided sound system.

Help from police : Police from city police station of Sangli extended cooperation for the ‘dindi’ and granted all necessary approvals without delay.

Indirect participation by citizens : Citizens took photos of the ‘dindi’. At many places, people were standing on both sides of the road to watch the ‘dindi’. Businessmen and shopkeepers came out of their shops, offices to watch the ‘dindi’. During the ‘dindi’, bike-riders had to stop in between on side; but none of them expressed irritation; moreover, it seemed as if they enjoyed watching the ‘dindi’ and ‘chaitanya’ spread through the same.

Special ‘palakhi’ !

Citizens had ‘darshan’ of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale’s photo kept in ‘palakhi’.  Persons carrying the ‘palakhi’ were wearing special dress as worn in olden times by ‘palakhi-carriers’. Flowers were showered at few places over ‘palakhi’. Warkaris joined the ‘dindi’ with their chymes so also a group chanting God’s name. Some were in the attire of ‘gondhalis’.

Everyone is expected to participate in the mission of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale and ‘Pujya’ Bhide (Guruji) ! – Shri. Sachin Pawar

‘Paratpar Guru’ Athavale and ‘Pujya’ Bhide Guruji, both are striving for upliftment of this country. Everyone is expected to participate in their mission. On 4th June, there will be a program held on Raigad for re-establishment of ‘gold throne’. All are requested to attend this program.
