Jalgaon : Ganesh idol made of clay to be installed in police head office

Jalgaon : Shri. Dattatreya Karale, newly appointed District Superintendent of Police (DSP) took a decision to install Ganesh idol made of clay in the police head office since it is eco-friendly and as per the science. He also promised that whichever police stations install Ganesh idol, will be advised to get idols made of only clay since he would send letters to all police stations. Delegation comprising of members of Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and ‘Yuva Shakti Foundation (YSF)’ called on the DSP in connection with forthcoming Ganesh festival and submitted a representation to him in this context.

A representation was submitted to newly elected DSP, Dattatreya Karale on behalf of HJS, Sanatan Sanstha, YSF, ‘Neer Foundation’ and ‘Vivekananda Vyayamshala’ making an appeal to install Ganesh idols which are eco-friendly and as per science. Shri. Karale said, “This drive is commendable. It is necessary to create awareness amongst people and clay idol is beneficial from the viewpoint of environment. We welcome such drive. All police stations and police families will be appealed to use clay idols. You can contact us in case of need.”

Sanatan Sanstha’s ‘Pujya’ Nandkumar Jadhav, Shri. Dattatreya Waghulde; Shri. Vijay Patil, Shri. Ravindra Sapkale of HJS; Shri. Viraj Kavadia, Shri. Amit Jagtap of YSF and other devout Hindus were present on the occasion.
