Kashmiri Hindus do not want financial aid, they need their lawful rights : Ramesh Shinde

Shri. Ramesh Shinde, National spokesperson, HJS

Kashmiri Hindus are not refugees but they are displaced citizens. Today, the Union Government gives Rs. 12,000/- to the family of terrorists whereas only Rs. 2000/- are given to displaced Kashmiri Hindus. The condition of camps, where Kashmiri Hindus are put up, is very bad. The then Vajpayee Government had extended grant of Rs. 20 lakhs and the present Government is giving Rs. 40 lakhs. Is the value of genocide of Hindus only Rs. 40 lakhs ? Displaced Hindus do not want financial aid but they want their own land as ‘Panun Kashmir’ to be a union territory; it is their rightful demand. We also demand the same thing. One reporter asked, ‘why do we treat the displacement of Kashmiri Hindus as a matter of human right ?’ It shows that in this country, human right is applicable only to Muslims and Christians. Don’t the media consider Kashmiri Hindus as human beings ? Many public places in Kashmir have changed names to eliminate existence of Hindus. Hindus need to be alert and see to it that Amarnath Yatra wouldn’t require Visa. As per article 370, none of the Indians can go and settle in Kashmir; then how did 25000 Rohingya Muslims reach there ? If such thing can happen, our demand of ‘Panun Kashmir’ should also be approved by the Prime Minister, without delay, for lawful rehabilitation of Hindus.
