It is the misfortune of India to have such rulers who have no respect and loyalty towards their Nation ! – Mr. Ramesh Shinde
Ratnagiri (Maharashtra): Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was insulted by making him stand in the line of ‘Panch-hajari Sardars’ ; therefore, he immediately walked out of Aurangzeb’s Court. This is an example of how one should have respect and love for one’s nation. The present rulers, however, are keeping their respect for the Nation in cold storage only for votes. It is very unfortunate that people forming the Government have no feelings towards their Nation, stated Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat in the ‘Hindu Unity Meet’ held at Nagar Vachanalaya (Library) which was attended by about 300 devout Hindus.
Mr. Shinde said, “The Indian Home Minister, P. Chidambaram feels there is nothing wrong if Pakistan hoists our flag upside down. Pakistan has been showing again and again that she wants to have ‘Islamic’ rule over India by insulting our flag. When saffron colour adorns the top position in the flag, only then, the other two colours remain below; but when green colour takes upper position, nothing will remain. This is quite evident from the condition of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangla Desh. One who forgets his mother tongue, forgets his Nation. Mother tongue should be protected so as to protect the Nation. Chhatrapati Shivaraya had given Hindu names to his 8 ministers unlike the Mughals. Today, the secular Government has omitted the lesson on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj describing his valour. If Hindus forget this history, they will have to burn incense before durgahs.”
