Jalgaon : On the occasion of Martyr Day of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, the memorial at Bendale Chowk was cleaned and Kum. Rageshree Deshpande performed ‘puja’ of the memorial. Kum. Tejaswini Tambat and Kum. Sanika Pol garlanded the statue. All participants acclaimed Rani Lakshmibai, raising slogans. Kum. Rageshree Deshpande of ‘Ranaragini’ Division spoke on the topic of atrocities against women and ‘Ranaragini’s bravery.
Memorial at Dhule also cleaned !
Memorial of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi near Municipal Corporation of Dhule was also cleaned and ‘puja’ was performed. Shri. Manoj Ghodake of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’ garlanded the monument and did ‘pujan’. An oath was taken for Hindu Rashtra amidst slogans. Shri. Pankaj Bagul of HJS explained the pathetic condition of monuments of great national leaders, with reference to Municipal Corporation and importance of self-defence training for women.
