Chopda : Demonstrations were staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ at 11.30 a.m. in the premises of Tehasildar’s office for various demands such as – ban should be imposed immediately on ‘face book’ account of banned ‘Islamic Research Foundation’ run by terrorist Dr. Zakir Naik; action should be taken against police officers and rulers responsible for detention of Sadhvi Pragya Singh in jail for 8 years under false accusations and for her torture; stringent action should be taken against anti-national professor Nandini Sundar and Human Rights activist Bela Bhatia involved in naxalite activities etc.
Slogans were raised for the above demands and representation was submitted by demonstrators to acting-Tehasildar Adhikar Pendharkar. Vice Chairman Nandkishore Patil of Chopda KUB, HJS’ volunteers viz. Yashwant Chaudhari, Sudhakar Chaudhari, Sunita Vyas, Manisha Mali, Ranaragini Division’s Kshipra Juvekar, Kum. Rageshree Deshpande, Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers and ‘Hindutvavadis’ like Nilesh Sonar, Chetan Birhade, Pravin Jain etc of RSS were present.
