Nasik : HJS activists demand action against use of plastic flags

Activists submitting representation to Education Officer

Nasik : Mumbai High Court has imposed ban on use of plastic national flags and such law has also been passed. Action should be taken against people violating the law was the demand made through representation submitted by volunteers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Dy. District Collector Shashikant Mangaluru and education officer Nitin Upasani.

Education officer Shri. Nitin Upasani made HJS volunteers feel welcomed when the met him for submitting representation. He said, “All drives undertaken by HJS are commendable. You can undertake your drives in municipal schools. I will give instructions for issue of such circular and give a copy of the same to you so that you wouldn’t have any problem. He then immediately gave instructions for issue of circular in the name of all schools.” He said he was trying to make his son a devout Hindu but unable to take part in activities because he was in Government service. He offered to help whenever possible.
