Shri Matarani Ganesh Temple demolished by MMC though it was ‘authorized’

Removal of loudspeakers and demolition of unauthorized structures, both are orders of Court but the local administration, which is scared to take action against unauthorized loudspeakers, mosques and durgahs, is demolishing temples although they are legal. Such anti-Hindu policy of the Government makes establishment of Hindu Rashtra unavoidable ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Mumbai : Shri Matarani Ganesh Temple near Gowandi, Deonar bus depot which was a legally ‘authorized’ temple, has been demolished by Mumbai Municipal Corporation (MMC). The infuriating thing is temple’s trustee and priest advocate Shivaharsha Mishra had all necessary papers to prove legality of the temple; still MMC took no note of the same and demolished the temple. (Hindus should lawfully demand action against the concerned officers responsible for such demolition and send names of those officers to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Point to be  noted here is that the house of advocate Shivaharsha Mishra was built in the year 2000 and the temple next to his house, exists from the year 1957. MMC has raised no objection to shops set up on sides of the temple or advocate Mishra’s house; but temple has been demolished.

It is very unfortunate that people, who are planning to build temple in Ayodhya, do not hear the sound of demolition of ancient temples in Mumbai ! – Advocate Shivaharsha Mishra

My three generations are staying at this place. We are paying all taxes related to this place. In 1958, we got necessary credentials from the Government related to this temple. Is there no place for God in Mumbai ? If our worshipped Deities are removed, from where will Hindus get ‘sanskars’ ? How will Hindus unite ? On Fridays, roads are full with people in front of mosques for reading ‘namaz’. The Government provides even police staff for their security. On the other hand, Hindus’ temples are demolished despite pro-Hindu Government and nobody raises voice. What exactly the Government expects ? People would start feeling that the earlier Government was better. Parties, which claim to be pro-Hindu, should ask where Hindus will go if their temples are demolished. It is unfortunate that people planning to build Ram-Mandir in Ayodhya, cannot hear sound of ancient temples demolished in Mumbai. It would cause harm to Hindus’ faith and it will create situation like Pakistan even here.
