Inquiry of HJS activities in Sanatan’s book-exhibition held at Amalner (Dist. Jalgaon)

[Two unknown persons made inquiry with lady-distributors of the books about activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in an exhibition of books published by Sanatan during Ganesha festival. On the previous day also, one of the persons was observing the activities at the book stall in a suspicious manner.]

The person (P): (Taking a book on hair-styling) Is this book only for women?

Distributor (D): No, there is information for everyone.

P: What are your exact activities?

D: To impart ‘Dharmashishan’ to Hindus, to unite them for protection of Dharma. Presently, Hindu Dharma and Deities are denigrated through various mediums; so awareness is created among people towards such denigrations to stop them. HJS also explains the right manner of celebrating Ganeshotsava; with what ‘bhav’ it should be celebrated etc.

P: How can you talk so openly? Don’t you feel scared of Muslims?

 (The Constitution of this country has given right of expression and thinking to every citizen. Then what is wrong in presenting the truth before people? – Editor SP)

D: We never tell lies. We talk truth giving proofs. It is not our objective to spread hatred towards any religion; but we can frankly say the truth because God is always on the side of truth.

P: From where did you get such ‘teachings’? Are there ‘satsangs’ conducted for people?

D: Yes; there are ‘Dharma-shikshan’ classes held at various places in which science behind every act prescribed as per Hindu Dharma is explained.

P: Do you stay somewhere here? You are from which place?
(Information is given)

P: Your activities are very good; but do you not face opposition from others?

D: Others mean whom?

P: Government

D:  Yes, there is opposition.

P: Isn’t Sadhvi from your organization? She carried out blast.

D: No, she is not a member of HJS. She is from some other organization and the accusations against her have not yet been proved.

(The person changes the topic and asks for importance of some material.)

P: Can you read mind of other person?

D: No; but one can do so with spiritual practice.

D: What do you do?

P: (waits for a second) I am a MR (medical representative) (Afterwards, he left.)

(The activists should take name, address and contact number of any person making inquiry. If he has a visiting card, it should be obtained. If the person is really a ‘jidnyasu (curious)’, it will become easy to contact him later. In case, inquiry is made in suspicious manner, the details will help in lodging a complaint against such person with the police. – Compiler)
