Hindu Unity Meet held successfully at Madakai, Goa

Madakai (Goa): During the Mughal and British regimes, Hindu Dharma was under constant attack; still Hindu Dharma did not perish. After independence, however, Hindu Dharma and Hindu culture continues to be in danger; therefore, it has become the need of the hour that Hindus should unite. The above views were expressed by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat. He was the main speaker at Hindu unification meet organized by HJS at the local Sri Bhangileshwar Temple. We have been instilled with the values like ‘Sarva-Dharma-samabhava (equality of religions)’; but ‘Sarva-Dharma-samabhava’ is not taught in Hindu Dharma. We believe in ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam (the whole world is one family)’. Hindu Dharma is supreme. There is a saying in ‘Vedas’ that ‘Ahimso Paramo Dharmah: Himsa Paramochha Jaayate’. Hindus are, however, taught only ‘Ahimso Paramo Dharmah’. When Nation, Dharma, family and woman of the family are in danger, ‘Himsa’ is the highest Dharma. Hindus are suffering from loss of memory. We have forgotten the atrocities meted out to Hindus by the Mughals.

Presently, ‘love jihad’ is the new danger looming large before Hindu Dharma. Muslim youth draw Hindu girls in the net of fake love, marry them just for show and then, they drag them in prostitution. The children born out of such alliance are trained as terrorists. Hindus girls should keep away from ‘love jihad’ and should not fall prey to the falsehood, appealed Mr. Ramesh Shinde. ‘These people are conniving to take over Hindustan. Hindus must learn from the past history and need to be alert. The Congress Government has accepted the recommendations of Sachar Committee and is preparing to extend various facilities and grants to Muslims. Hindus should strongly oppose this Committee’, said Mr. Shinde.

‘The Congress-led Government has also hatched a plot to take over management of all temples in the State.
The ‘Siddhivinayak Temple’ in Mumbai, ‘Saibaba Mandir’ in Shirdi and ‘Sree Vitthal Mandir’ at Pandharpur have already been taken over by the Government. The money collected as donations offered by Hindu devotees in temples, is distributed among minorities. Hindus must unite to fight back this danger’, stated Mr. Shinde. It was resolved to set up ‘Mandir Mahasangh’.

The meeting started with recitation of Sri Ganesh shloka and was concluded with recitation of Srikrushna’s shloka. Professor Namdeo Naik welcomed Mr. Ramesh Shinde as the main speaker. Mr. Rajendra Phadate, the Sarpanch of Madakai, Mrs. Kanta Gawade, Dy-Sarpanch, Mr. Rajesh Naik, a member of Panchayat, Mr. Ashok Tarale, the Principal of Sri Navadurga Vidyalaya were present on the occasion. The meeting was attended by about 150 devout Hindus. Mr. Shailesh Behare compeered the program.
