Pune : Tehasildar lauds HJS’s Respect National Flag drive

Action committee to be set up for prevention of abuse of national flags ! – Tehasildar Meenal Kalaskar

Pune : On 14th July, representation was submitted on behalf of Hindu Janajagruit Samiti (HJS) to local administration demanding prevention of abuse of national flags occurring due to use of plastic flags on Independence Day. Delegation of HJS met Tehasildar (General Administration Dept.) Meenal Kalaskar on 24th July, for taking follow up of the representation earlier submitted and had detailed discussions on the issue. Tehasildar Kalaskar promised to prevent abuse of national flags at all levels. Sou. Pratima Pasalkar, a devout Hindu along with HJS volunteers were present on the occasion.

HJS drive is good ! – Tehasildar

Tehasildar said, “HJS drive is good. We shall form an action committee in this connection and create awareness even at places like schools, colleges, theatres etc. We shall try to bring ban even on paper flags.”
