Amaravati (Maharashtra): A girl studying in Shri. Shivaji Science College used to wear a ‘Cross’. Miss Madhuri Duse attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) explained to her the science.

She asked the girl the reason for wearing such ‘Cross’. The girl said she just liked to wear the ‘Cross’. Miss Madhuri Duse advised her to study how the girl felt after wearing the ‘Cross’ and after removing the ‘Cross’. She asked the girl whether she had seen any Christian wearing such lockets with images of Hindu Deities. The girl had removed the cross on the following day.

She told Miss Duse that she was not feeling good after wearing the ‘Cross’; therefore, she removed it. (Owing to lack of love and respect towards their Dharma, Hindus wear such type of lockets. There is no alternative but to impart ‘Dharma-shikshan’ to Hindus so as to generate respect among them towards Dharma. – Editor SP)
