Memorandum to be submitted to Tehsildar by taking out a mammoth rally

Gokak (Dist. Belgaum, Karnataka) : A meeting of ‘Muthadheeshes’ from the taluka were held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to oppose the Government’s move to take over management of temples. The meeting was held on 3rd October at Sri Shunya Sampadan Muth and was attended by nine ‘Muthadheeshes’. It was decided to submit a memorandum to the Tehsildar by taking out a rally. Mr. Girish Kulkarni of HJS gave a detailed account of HJS activities. Then the attendees presented their views on the topic ‘Present condition of Dharma and the responsibilities of Muthadheeshes’. Mr. Kuber Gauda Kallangauder of HJS explained about the Act on taking over Hindu temples and its adverse effects. It was then decided to take out a protest march for submitting memorandum to the Tehsildar. The program was compeered by Mr. Prakash Kembi of HJS.
Muthadheesh set to hold ‘Dharma-sabhas’ in every village in the Taluka
The Muthadheeshes attending the meeting commended HJS activities. They have requested HJS to hold ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ in 149 villages in the Taluka. In every village, the concerned Muthadheesh will take initiative to gather the youth. Various products manufactured by Sanatan Sanstha and Sanatan books were exhibited at the venue of the meeting.
‘Muthadheeshes’ visited the exhibition and purchased different holy books.
