Yeotmal : Yeotmal (Vadgaon) police station held peace committee meeting at Town Hall where Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was invited. Shri. Mangesh Khandel of HJS explained ideal way of celebrating Ganesh festival. It was also informed that immersion of Shri Ganesh idols in artificial water tanks had caused desecration of the Deity and appeal was made for prevention of such desecration this year.
District Collector Sachindra Pratap Singh, District Superintendent of Police M Rajkumar and Mayor Sou. Kanchantai Chaudhari also attended the meeting. More than 70 Ganesh Mandals attended the meeting and guidance.
