Immerse Shri Ganesh idols in flowing water as per ‘Dharmashastra’ : Demand of ‘Hindutvavadis’

Representation submitted by HJS to Tehasildar at Kagal

Kagal (Dist. Kolhapur) : Shri Ganesh idols should be immersed as per ‘Dharma-shaastra’ instead of donation of idols. The above demand has been made through a representation submitted to Shri. Kishore Ghatge, Tehasildar on 14th August. Shri. Pramod Arekar, Shri. Rudrappa Patil, ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’s Shri. Kiran Chavan, Shri. Dasharath Dongale; Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Shri. Santosh Sanagar and Shri. Aditya Shastri were present on the occasion.

Organizations of heretics, progressive factions and ANiS make false propaganda that immersion of Shri Ganesh idols caused water pollution; but as per the report of environmentalists, water gets polluted throughout the year with sewage water, chemicals released by factories etc and not due to immersion of idols. The local administrations should take necessary steps and allow Hindus to immerse idols as per ‘Dharma-shaastra’; create awareness amongst people against donation of idols and do their duty. The above demands were kept before Shri. Ghatge by ‘Hindutvavadis’.

Linganur Dumala (Dist. Kolhapur) : HJS submitted representation to Dy. Sarpanch Sou. Mangal Kumbhar on 14thAugust at Linganur Dumala in Kagal Taluka demanding immersion of Shri Ganesh idols as per ‘Dharma-shaastra’; instead of donation of idols. Members of Grampanchayat, Gramsevaks, devout Hindus Shri. Vasant Bagade, Shri. Sagar Kambale, Shri. Pramod Bagade, Shri. Suraj Barad; Shri. Dattatreya Kumbhar; Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Shri. Santosh Sanagar, Shri. Aditya Shastri etc. were present on the occasion.
