HJS volunteers immerse damaged Shri Ganesh idol in river

Jaisingpur (Dist. Kolhapur) : On 26th August, Shri. Sanjay Ghatge and Shri. Shivraj Ghatge, volunteers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had gone for immersion of their Shri Ganesh idol, near Ankali Bridge on River Krushna. They observed that some unknown person had left a damaged idol on the bank of the river instead of immersing the same. They, therefore, immersed the idol in river so as to prevent its further desecration. (Lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’ amongst Hindus is the reason they leave idols on river-bank instead of their immersion ! HJS volunteers are imparted ‘Dharmashikshan’; therefore, they take initiative in preventing harm caused to Dharma ! – Editor, Hindujagruti)
