Report of Nepal tour of Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of HJS

Kathmandu : Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was touring Nepal between 18th and 28th August. He presented research paper during 5th international conference held for two days at Kathmandu during his visit and participated in 4th ‘Rashtriya Pandit’ Seminar. Besides, he met many devout dignitaries during his visit. A report on the visit is given below.

Meeting with Shri. Jeevaraj Pokharel, Vice Chancellor of ‘Nepal Academy of Science and Technology’

Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale met Shri. Jeevaraj Pokharel, Vice Chancellor of ‘Nepal Academy of Science and Technology’ who informed Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale that there was a plan to start a separate Department at their branch at Dang, for the subject ‘Ancient Science’ for undertaking study and research. Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale told him that research was going on the above subject at Sanatan’s ashram in Goa; extending him invitation to visit the ashram.

Meeting with Shri. Anil Kedia, President ‘DAV Nepal’, an educational institute

On 22nd August, Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale met Shri. Anil Kedia, the President of ‘DAV’ educational institute of Nepal. Discussions were held on the conspiracy hatched to keep away the new generation in Nepal from following Dharma. Shri. Kedia organized a lecture by Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale for students from his educational institute.

Guidance to students from ‘DAV’ Educational Institute

Guidance by Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale was organized at ‘DAV, Nepal’ education institute on the subject of ‘Importance of spiritual energy for successful life’. Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale said while guiding students, “If everything could have been achieved with worldly progress, there wouldn’t have been increase in cases of drug-addictions, crimes, divorce etc in western and developed countries.”

Highlights     

1. Research students had curiosity to know about ‘sadhana (spiritual practice)’ during the guidance and they asked questions like ‘what is sadhana’, which name should be chanted etc. getting clarification on their doubts.

2. The students of ‘DAV’ Nepal asked questions spontaneously and Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale explained in language that they would follow. He gave guidance in Hindi; therefore, Shri. Purushottam Pokharel, the Head of the Department –Hindi, expressed his satisfaction over the same.

3. Shri. Purushottam Pokharel said, “Today for the first time, we came to know that our students had so much curiosity. You have given momentum to their spiritual reflections.”

4. Shri. Ramchandra Khanal, the Vice Principal said, “Earlier, persons from other Sects have guided our students; but that used to be one-sided. Nobody tried to clarify their doubts.”

Goodwill visit to Shri. Ganesh Bhatt, the Chief Priest ‘Pashupatinath Mandir’

On 20th August, Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale paid ‘goodwill’ visit to Shri. Ganesh Bhatt, the Chief Priest of Pashupatinath Mandir at Kathmandu. Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale told him about spiritual research conducted at Sanatan’s ashram in Goa. Shri. Ganesh Bhatt took Dr. Pingale inside to show ‘altar (puja-ghar)’ in his house. He blessed Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale by presenting a ‘Rudraksha-mala’, in the form of blessings for his work related to ‘Dharmaprasar’ and establishment of Hindu Rashtra.

Highlights : Shri. Bharat Sharma present during the meeting said that the Chief Priest never took anyone to the ‘altar’ in his house as he took Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale.

Meeting with Dr. Rajani Malla, Professor of Biotechnology at Tribhuvan University

Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale met Dr. Rajani Malla, Professor of Biotechnology at Tribhuvan University, on 25thAugust. Professor Dr. Ganga Pokharel and few research students were also present at that time. Prof. Dr. Ganga Pokharel was curious to know about Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale giving up everything though he was leading practitioner in medical field for dedicating to the field of Dharma and spirituality. Dr. Ganga also got her doubts clarified from Sadguru (Dr.) Pingale. He said, “Definition of health given by WHO (World Health Organization) is physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.”

‘Rashtriya Dharmasabha’, Nepal had organized a procession on 26th August, on the occasion of Shri Ganesh Chaturthi in which Pandit Diwakar Sharma, worshipper of ‘Kamakhya’ Devi from India; Dr. Madhav Bhattarai, national President of ‘Rashtriya Dharmasabha’, Nepal and Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale, national Guide of HJS participated.

During his Nepal tour, Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale met Shri. Santosh Saha, the President of ‘Leadership Asia and Today’s Youth Asia’; Professor Nirmal Adhikari of ‘Mass Communications’, from Tribhuvan University and Shri. Rubainath Koirala, the President of ‘Brahman Samaj’

Participation in annual general meeting of ‘Rashtriya Dharmasabha’, Nepal

Annual general meeting of ‘Rashtriya Dharmasabha’ was held during this period and its President Dr. Madhav Bhattarai extended special invitation to Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale to attend this meeting. Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale said on the occasion, “We are members of ‘Dharmasabha’ but if we didn’t know what was Dharma, what was establishment of Dharma etc; then we will fight on the side of ‘Kauravas’ like ‘Bheeshmacharya’ and  someone like Arjuna would destroy us, under guidance of Krushna.” All office bearers and main members of ‘Rashtriya Dharmasabha’ were present for the meeting.

Establish Dharma in self before establishing Dharma outside ! – Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale  

Kathmandu : When ‘Sattva’ pre-dominant people give up ‘Sattva’ quality in them and turn to ‘Raja-Tama’; Dharma goes under stupor; therefore, before establishing Dharma outside, it is necessary to study Dharma; understand and abide by Dharma; establishing Dharma in self, is essential. Those, who have established Dharma in self, should come together and establish Dharma in society with the grace of God, stated Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale while addressing the two-day 4th ‘Rashtriya Pandit’ Seminar. Dr. Diwakar Sharma, worshipper of ‘Kamakhya’ and Dr. Rajendra Sharma, astrologer was also present on the occasion. The Seminar was inaugurated by Shri. Ganesh Bhatt, the main Priest of ‘Jyotirling Pashupatinath’ Mandir, by lighting a lamp.

Shri. Ganesh Bhatta said, “A person who has knowledge of restraint and liberation, is a Pandit as stated in ‘Rhugveda’. ‘Pandits (Brahmins) have the responsibility of showing right path to people and nation. If they go off such path, they are guilty and have to bear the consequences.”

Highlights : An exhibition of books published by Sanatan Sanstha in Hindi was held on the occasion. It received good response from people.
