1. Lectures
A. Lectures were held at 3 places on the occasion of ‘Narayan Maasam’ celebrated in Kerala. Importance of ‘Narayan Maasam’ and chanting was explained by Sou. Vijaya Kumari of HJS and lectures were attended by 77 people.
B. Two lectures were held on the topic of ‘Importance of Guru in life and importance of Guru-Pournima’ at Ernakulam by Sou. Shalini Suresh.
2. Creating awareness towards ideal celebration of Ganesh Festival
A.HJS volunteers had gone to meet a person holding high post in SNDP organisation who is going to celebrate Ganesh festival in Kerala. He invited HJS volunteers to attend the meeting held by him for planning. He told HJS volunteers, “You are honest; therefore, I want people like you.”
B. Seven Ganesh festival committees were contacted in the background of Ganesh festival. Ganesh festival is going to be celebrated under the initiative of Shri. Ranajit Nayar, a devout Hindu from Ernakulam District. HJS volunteers explained celebration of Ganesh festival as per science. 3 colleagues of Shri. Nayar were present on the occasion.
3. Study-class organized on removal of personality defects for ‘jidnyasus’
Five classes were held at the residence of advocate Govind Bharatan, on removal of personality defects. All participating ‘jidnyasus’ liked the subject and change is felt in them due to implementation of the process. Therefore, they have showed interest in continuing the classes. Accordingly, a class was held on the subject of ego-removal in the last week of July.
