Sangli) : I agree with the advice given by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) that Ganesh idols should be immersed in flowing water and I will take initiative in following it in this city, was the promise given by Mayor Dr. Vijay Sawant. Dr. Vijay Sawant immediately discussed the issue with Tehasildar and instructed him not to have artificial water tank. He was given representation on behalf of HJS in connection with Ganeshotsav.
