Representation for maintaining honour of national flags submitted at Ramnath (Alibag), Panvel and Uran
Raigad : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti submitted representations to various places under its drive for maintaining honour of national flags. Representation was submitted to Dy. District Collector Shri. Kiran Panabude in District Collector’s office at Ramnath (Alibag) and to Tehasildar Shri. Deepak Akade at New Panvel. Tehasildar commended HJS activities. Similar representation was also submitted to acting-Tehasildar at Uran.
Sanatan seekers and HJS volunteers stop abuse of national flags
Prompt action taken by PI and President of Traders Association
Sawantwadi : Sanatan seekers and volunteers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) drew attention of police to the fact that plastic national flags and stickers were sold by vendors in the market. The sale was later stopped.
Shri. Shankar Nikam, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha observed that plastic national flags and stickers were sold in the market by hawkers in the background of forthcoming Independence Day. He therefore, explained the issue to the sellers and they immediately removed those flags.
On the following day, it was observed by Shri. Chandrakant Bile and Shri. Santosh Parab of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) that sale of plastic national flags and stickers was re-started by vendors. They then contacted Police Inspector (PI) Sunil Dhanavade and brought it to his notice. PI Dhanavade also promptly informed Shri. Jagadish Manjarekar, the President of Traders’ Association of Sawantwadi, who went to the market without delay and informed vendors regarding ban on sale of plastic national flags; instructing them to remove all such flags. The vendor then took out all the material.
