HJS adversaries approach IGP and demand – ‘Keep an eye on HJS !’

Panaji (Goa): A delegation of all adversaries of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) made a demand with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to keep a strict watch on all activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The above news has been published in ‘Dainik Lokmat’. Sukadu Bhosale, Yadnyeshwar Nigalye, Subodh Kerkar, Vasant Bhatt, Kashinath Mayekar, Jawahar Barwe and Pravin Kerkar comprised the delegation. It has been mentioned in the said news that few citizens from the State met deputy IGP, Sundari Nanda on Tuesday and informed about the activities of Sanatan Sanstha. (Sanatan Sanstha is engaged in ‘Dharmakarya’, but the heretics address it as if it is some organization of terrorists or criminals thus exhibiting their hatred for Sanatan ! – Editor SP)  

The delegation also brought to the notice of Dy. IGP Nanda that many activities undertaken by HJS, which is a part of Sanatan Sanstha, are doubtful. (HJS is not a part of Sanatan. Both the organizations are different. HJS carries on all its activities openly taking prior permission of the police, in lawful manner; even then, the Hindu-haters accuse HJS out of their prejudice ! – Editor SP) Programs like imparting training on use of guns, to carry arms etc. are always going on. (HJS does not advise anyone to carry arms nor does it impart training on use of guns. Those, who are suffering from jaundice of Hindu-hatred, will, however, see everything as yellow ! – Editor SP) The matter published by them is also detrimental to peace and can create religious feud. (None of the police and judicial machineries has ever mentioned that HJS publishes such material ! – Editor SP)

This organization takes objection to exhibitions displaying work of renowned artists in Goa and the exhibitions are canceled because of the same. This is an attack on freedom of expression. The delegation also made a demand that henceforth, exhibitions should not be canceled due to objections raised by such organizations. (HJS definitely raises objection to such art-exhibitions that denigrate objects of faith of Hindus and will continue to do so even in future. Freedom of expression does not mean freedom to hurt religious sentiments of others ! – Editor SP)
