Solapur : Shri Markandeya Mahamuni is worshipped by Padmashali community. On the day of ‘Narali Pournima’, ‘Rathotsav’ is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. His devotees, mainly Telugus, come from different parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The procession with chariot was welcomed with garland on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. A banner was also displayed extending good wishes. Volunteers of HJS viz. Shri. Yellappa Chougule, Shri. Tirupati Shriram, Shri. Appu Ratnakar, Shri. Satish Gundur, Shri. Shankar Chittyal, Shri. Satyanarayan Kanaki, Shri. Balraj Dontul, Shri. Ramesh Awar, Shri. Tarun Awar etc were present on the occasion.
