Bangalore (Karnataka): The HC has directed the Udupi DC not to interfere with the religious rituals of Sri Mookambika temple at Kollur. The court stayed the May 11 order issued by the DC seeking to change the rituals. Priest K Manjunatha Adiga said the order interferes with the temple customs.
The DC wanted to move the Sankalpa, offering of fruits and coconut to the deity, outside the sanctum sanctorum.
