Outcome of HJS guidance: ‘Garba’ danced on the tune of film songs stopped

Vasai (Maharashtra): ‘We have stopped ‘garba’ danced on the tune on film songs to maintain sanctity of ‘Navaratri festival’ and avoidwrong practices taking place during this festival.’ The above information was given by Mr. Nikam, the Advisor of Sadichha Seva Mandal. This is the outcome of guidance given by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

A lecture by Shri. Sadanand Panchal of HJS was organized on traditions and wrong practices taking place during Navaratri which was attended by 40 persons. Mr. Vinayakrao Nikam, the Chief Advisor of Sadichha Mandal and a municipal councilor of Shiv Sena, Mr. Ravikant Nikam of VHP from Vasai-Navaghar extended full cooperation in organizing the program.

1. A short play titled ‘15th August 2012’ showing a glimpse of future period of crisis was shown during the program.
2. Ten ‘flex’ boards displaying information about ‘Devi’ were sponsored by ‘Sadichha Seva Mandal’.
