Special squad should be formed for investigating into increasing attacks by fanatics on Hindus ! – ‘Hindutvavadis’
Varanasi : Fanatics have become more aggressive in last few days in Uttar Pradesh and there is increase in incidents of their attacking Hindus’ houses; pelting stones at processions taken out by Hindus; entering Hindus’ temples and desecrating and damaging idols etc. Demonstrations were staged at Shastri Ghat under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ wherein demand was made for setting up of special squad to investigate into such cases and for providing protection to temples. Shri. Manish Pandeya, regional Vice President of ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’, Shri. Avinash Yadav, regional Vice President of ‘Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh’; Shri. Hemant Mishra, Vice President of ‘Hindu Sena’ for Shivapur assembly constituency; Shri. Ravi Shrivastav and Shri. Shubham Mishra of ‘Hindu Jagaran Manch’; advocates Avanish Rai, Anup Kumar and Vinodkumar Patel; besides members of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti were present.
Other demands
1. Union Government should intervene and lift ban imposed by Mamata Banerjee Govt. of Bengal, on immersion of idols during Navaratri, in the background of Moharum.
2. Special squad should be set up at Central and State levels for investigating into ‘love jihad’ cases.
