Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra) : Idols of Sree Ganesha are immersed in rivers, lakes etc. causing water pollution; claiming the above, Maharashtra Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti had filed a case in Mumbai High Court’s Sambhajinagar Bench in the year 2005. Mr. Ashok Kulkarni of HJS filed a petition raising objection to the above case at Sambhajinagar. Judges Hardas and Potdar registered the petition before their Bench. Advocate Sudhakar Chapalgaonkar and advocate Mr. Suresh Kulkarni represented the case on behalf of the petitioner.
