Rajasthan: Hindus demand ban on printing Deities’ pictures on any product

Uadaypur (Rajasthan): ‘Shivdal Mewad’, a pro-Hindu organization from Rajasthan has sent a fax message to the Rajasthan High Court Judge demanding imposition of ban on printing pictures of Deities on coverings of any product.

Mr. Manish Mehta, the Chief of the organization has stated in the fax that from the year 2008, there is ban on printing pictures of Deities on any product; but many companies are still using such pictures. Mr. Shambhulal Sahu, the spokesperson of the organization said, “Crackers with pictures of Deities on the cover are burst during Diwali. A signature drive will be undertaken during the fairs held in the period of Diwali.” (Congratulations to ‘Shivdal Mewad’ for raising voice against denigration of Deities. Their action will motivate Hindus all over the world ! – Editor SP)
