‘Shaurya-jagaran’ demos and lectures on various subjects held at Amravati

Amravati : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and its Ranaragini Division held ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ demos at 5 places and conducted lectures on ‘Navratri and Importance of Dasara’ at one place whereas lectures on the subject of ‘Nari, tu abala nahi, sabala ho (woman should be strong and not be weak)’ were held at another place. Exhibition of flex-boards on ‘Dharmashikshan’ was held at two places.
More than 1000 ‘jidnyasus’ were benefited from the above programs. There was demand to conduct self-defence training classes at 4 places.
1. ‘Navajawan Durga Mandal’s organizer Shri. Sandip Rathod took active part advising HJS to present all programs devised by them. He said that HJS was doing good work and HJS was doing everything as service to society that was needed by people. He said that in next year’s list of programs held by ‘Durgotsav Mandal’, HJS’ name would be included along with their programs. He took part in organizing the programs. Shri. Javanjal, a Trustee of the ‘Mandal’ felicitated HJS volunteers by offering ‘sreefal’ to them.
2. Shri. Milind Sakhare of HJS explained the importance of Navratri and Garba; besides importance of wearing traditional clothes. In the end of the program, therefore, the organizers announced that those wearing jeans and t-shirt would not be allowed to play ‘Garba’. Shri. Nikhil Phate, a devout Hindu present for the programs, demanded that such programs should be held even in other ‘Mandals’ and took initiative in organizing the same on the following day.
3. HJS volunteers presented ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ demos. Shri. Swaraj Sharma explained the importance of Navratri festival. Sou. Anubhuti Tavlare of Ranaragini Division gave lecture on ‘Nari tu abala nahi, sabala ho’ in programs held by one ‘Mandal’.
Highlights
1. Few fanatic youth were found during programs held by one ‘Mandal’ but they left as demo on ‘Shaurya-jagaran’ was started.
2. Organizers of ‘Navajawan Mandal’ informed that they would take active part in ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ held by HJS and suggested that canvassing for the ‘sabha’ should be started from Durgadevi temple in their colony, seeking Her blessings.
Awareness created towards malpractices by contacting more than 100 public ‘Durgotsav Mandals’ at Yeotmal !
Yeotmal : HJS contacted more than 100 public ‘Durgotsav Mandals’ at Yeotmal, Vani and Pusad; so also Darvha taluka and created awareness among them towards malpractices taking place during celebration of Navratri festival, eve-teasing occurring under guise of playing ‘Garba’ and prevention of love jihad. Representations were also submitted to police administration at 3 places.
Lectures were held on behalf of HJS at 18 places on the subjects such as ‘Ideal celebration of Navratri Festival’, ‘Need for establishment of Hindu Rashtra’ and ‘Need for self-defence training’. Demos on self-defence training were presented at ‘Ramnagar Durga Utsav Mandal’ and ‘Durga Utsav Mandir’. People, who watched these demos, showed interest in HJS conducting self-defence training classes for them. Awareness was created even through handbills, posters etc. Good response was received from people to these drives.
Information on ‘Navratri Mahotsav’ was given at 7 places and awareness was created towards wrong things happening during celebration of this festival
Nagpur : Many ‘Durga Mandals’ and ‘Yoga Mandals’ were visited and in 7 ‘Mandals’ Sou. Mangala Paganis and Shri. Atul Arvenla of HJS explained about ideal celebration of Navratri festival and wrongdoings happening during celebrations. ‘Dharmashikshan’ boards were displayed at 4 places and book-exhibition was held at 5 places in the district. All ‘Mandals’ took initiative and responded well to HJS drives. They also expressed view that the awareness created by HJS was necessary in present times. Representations were submitted to District Collector and Dy. Police Commissioner.

1. One ‘Mandal’ showed interest in starting ‘Dharmashikshan’ class.
2. There was demand from 3 places for giving information on Diwali festival.
Distribution of ‘Apta’ leaves and ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ copy by HJS at Nagpur
Nagpur : HJS undertook drive of distributing ‘Apta’ leaves this year also, on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami and it was undertaken at Shri Durgadevi Mandir, Shriram Mandir, Saibaba Mandir and Gajanan Mandir. Copies of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ were also distributed on the occasion. Good response was received from people towards these drives; including response from devotees going to Shri Renuka Mata Mandir.
Shri. Khode, Trustee of Gajanan Mandir, Mahal extended lot of help in undertaking the drive.
