Scam in land dealings of Shri Ambadevi Sansthan at Amravati

Such wrongdoings will not stop till inquiry is conducted promptly into these cases and the scamsters are stringently punished. People have not been imparted ‘Dharmashikshan’ and not taught spiritual practice by none of the rulers during post-independence period; therefore, there is rampant corruption everywhere, in all fields, including temples which are actually source of divine energy. There is no alternative to establishment of Hindu Rashtra for bringing change in this situation !

Amravati : There is no record book maintained by Shri Ambadevi Sansthan regarding its land dealings; therefore, no information has been updated and available. Trustees of this Sansthan have sold lot of land belonging to this Sansthan. Some land has been utilized for dams or Government projects. In some cases, there are disputes and matters are sub-judice. The management committee is falling short in following up the Court cases and the Board of Trustees is indifferent towards getting back the properties of Sansthan. The above inference has been drawn by Joint Charity Commissioner’s office in the inquiry conducted by it.

Other points presented in the inquiry report

1. No renovation work has been carried out of the temple buildings. Some part of the temple is in a most dilapidated condition and can collapse any time.

2. Money donated by devotees has been utilized for other construction work. Developmental work related to temple is not being undertaken from the money received in donations; therefore, devotees are unhappy. The pace of development of such historical Devasthan is very slow.
