Bangalore (Karnataka): On the eve of Diwali, HJS members along with Mr. Chandra Moger, HJS Convenor, Bangalore met various Fire Cracker dealers to create awareness and stop the sale of crackers with the pictures of Deities and National Heroes.

Handbills giving details regarding the denigration of deities by usage in crackers  were also distributed to the customers to create awareness. The Traders were specifically requested to convey the message to the manufacturers when they indicated their helplessness in this regard.
