Mumbai: It has been said that ghosts of Shrikant Trailokya and Premkumar Kinare, secretaries of Rashtrawadi (Nationalist) Congress Party who died some time back are haunting the Nariman Point office of the Party. Therefore, nobody is ready to occupy the chair of secretary.
The cabin of the secretary is next to the office of the Party. On 5th August 2004, Shri Trailokya passed away and Premkumar took charge; but he always seemed to be uncomfortable in the office and on 7th August 2006, he too expired suddenly. It is therefore, said that the office is haunted by a ghost of a woman who died of burns. One of the members of the Party said that person going to the office starts feeling uneasy and frightened and starts sweating. Whoever goes to the cabin of the secretary starts behaving strangely. Therefore, members are not ready to even sit in the office, leave aside sitting in the secretary’s cabin.
